Woodwrights was founded in March 1992. The company's original founders were brothers, Edward ("Eddie"), Thomas, and Larry Biehn, and partner Nick Willkomm. The group combined their experiences and skills and started the business in an eighteen hundred square foot warehouse space.

Woodwrights started primarily as a high-end residential cabinetry shop, but as time evolved, has expanded it's business into the Commercial and Retail markets. Today we remain active in all venues.

Woodwrights has been and remains in a continuous growth mode since it’s beginning. Over the years Eddie has bought out his partners and is currently the sole owner of Woodwrights. The company operates out of his 14,000 square foot facility on 4.3 acres in Wheatland, WI. Woodwrights utilizes state of the art automated equipment and high productivity manufacturing methods.

Our purpose remains to continue to nurture and develop our business by branching into new and different product lines as opportunity and ability lends itself. We ultimately seek to sustain a successful and profitable company, produce a quality product at affordable pricing in addition to providing jobs and a better tax base for our community. Our objective is to foster stable long-term relationships with other area businesses, vendors, support services and ultimately gain recognition as a model company and an active participant in the community.
